Your rear shock works hard every time you ride. Heat, contaminated fluid, pressure loss, and normal wear can gradually reduce damping performance long before the shock completely fails.

Carolina Suspension provides complete rear shock service for motocross, enduro, woods, trail, and off-road motorcycles.

What’s Included

  • Complete shock disassembly

  • Thorough internal and external cleaning

  • Inspection of shock shaft and body

  • Inspection of piston and internal components

  • Inspection of seal head and wear components

  • Inspection of bump rubber and mounting components

  • Premium suspension fluid

  • Nitrogen recharge

  • Reassembly and final inspection

  • Basic spring-rate and setup review when requested

Parts That May Be Additional

The $175 service price includes labor, suspension fluid, and nitrogen recharge.

Replacement parts are additional when required, including:

  • Seal heads and seals

  • Bushings

  • Bearings

  • Bump rubbers

  • O-rings

  • Springs

  • Damaged or excessively worn internal components

If we discover unexpected damage or significant additional repairs, we will contact you before proceeding.

Shock Spring Changes

If your current spring rate is not appropriate for your rider weight or intended use, we can help evaluate available spring-rate options.

Spring installation is included at no additional labor charge when performed during a scheduled shock service.

Shock spring installation without a shock service: $50

Replacement springs are additional.

Custom Shock Revalving

Starting at $270

Custom revalving is available for riders looking for suspension performance tailored more specifically to their weight, skill level, terrain, and riding style.

Setup can be developed around:

  • Rider weight

  • Skill level

  • Motocross, enduro, woods, or trail use

  • Terrain and riding conditions

  • Current handling concerns

  • Desired traction, comfort, support, and control

Replacement springs, wear parts, and specialty components are additional.

Nitrogen Recharge

Shock nitrogen recharge only: $35

Available for loose shocks that do not require a complete service.

Component Drop-Off Preferred

For the fastest and most economical service, we recommend bringing or shipping the shock to us already removed from the motorcycle.

Shock removal and installation can also be provided when needed.
